Santiago de Compostela, 1 October 2021.- The Regional Minister for the Environment, Territory and Housing, Ángeles Vázquez, accompanied by the Director General for Environmental Quality, Sagrario Pérez Castellanos, held a working meeting with the President of the Galician Cluster of Environmental Solutions and Circular Economy (Viratec), Marcos Martín, with the aim of analysing the possibility of promoting joint actions that promote a change towards the circular economy model.
The meeting, which was also attended by other representatives of Viratec, served to learn about the projects of this organization, which brings together a total of 59 companies related to environmental solutions, so that the Regional Minister indicated that it is important to maintain ongoing contact with them.
In this sense, they advanced the holding of technical meetings in different parts of Galicia, in order to improve the recovery rates.
The Regional Minister stressed that the Galician Government promoted the Circular Economy Strategy, convinced of the potential of the Galician business fabric, as well as of society, to take steps towards this model, which is committed to the depletion of the useful life of raw materials and, above all, to an increasingly green and sustainable Galicia.
